BCSI Presentation to third street bethel ame church helps reduce church mortgage

The Bethel Community Services, Inc. (BCSI) donated $5,000 to Third Street Bethel A.M.E. Church on Sunday, January 26, 2019, to assist with the church’s mortgage reduction.  

The BCSI partnered with the church’s Faith to Fate Ministry and Sacient Advanced Care Planning, LLC to provide free legal documents (power of attorney; last will and testament and advanced medical directive) to persons in the Richmond and Hampton Roads communities.

As a result of this partnership, nearly 400 persons have received these documents free of charge.  The BCSI appreciates the cooperation among all parties to address a need in our community, and looks forward to continued bridge building with this initiative while fostering other opportunities to empower and educate our community.
